Meet the Team

Ashley Danner - Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s College of Dentistry in 1999 and has been an integral part of the team for 10 of her 12 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist. In addition to seeing her chairside, you may also find Ashley in our front office, where she helps us keep everything running smoothly. She is passionate about keeping up with the latest advancements in dentistry and oral hygiene, and continues to improve upon her knowledge through continuing education courses.

Ashely appreciates the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful team that learns together and works so well together. She also values working in a facility that represents our practice's philosphy of creating beautiful smiles through modern dentistry. But what Ashley loves most is the ability to meet new people and build long-lasting relationships.

Ashley and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Danner, have been married for 12 years. Together, they have four wonderful boys that keep them very busy!  In her free time, Ashely enjoys exercising, shopping, and hanging out with her friends.

Lisa - Dental Hygienist

Lisa joined our office in 2010 but has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for a total of 21 years. She obtained her BS from Marquette University in 1990. When possible, continues to expand on her knowledge and experience through educational courses such as Spear Education. Technology  in the dental industry is ever changing, and Lisa is excited that at Kingfisher Dental Designs. When possible, she stays up-to-date with these advancements.

Lisa believes that Dr. Danner does an excellent job of setting a positive tone at the office. Treating our patients with compassion is one of our highest priorities.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys scrapbooking and other types of arts and crafts projects. She has been married to her husband, Buddy, for 21 years, and her son, Garrett, is 14 years old.

Deborah - Dental Hygienist

Deborah has been involved in dentistry for 24 years and we welcomed her to our team in March 2011. She obtained her associate's degree in dental hygiene from Rose State College in 1994, and was also the recipient of the Ideal Dental Hygiene award.

With everyone around her so committed to their work, Deborah always feels inspired to assist our patients in whatever way she can. She wants all our patients to feel welcomed and comfortable, and to always leave our office feeling good about their appointment. Deborah compliments Kingfisher Dental Design with her positive attitude and calming laugh!

Deborah has been married to her husband, Larry, for six years and together they adopted their young son, Jeremiah. In addition to being with those she loves, Deborah also enjoys skiing, camping, and is actively involved with her church.

Reneé - Lead Assistant, Lab Technician

Reneé has 25 years of experience in dentistry and her love of dentistry intensifies with each passing day. She’s amazed by all the technological advances that have come down the pike, and she follows them closely. In addition to her training as a dental assistant, she’s also completed training in:

• Coronal Polishing and Radiography (Oklahoma Board of Dentistry)
• Practice Excellence (Spear Education)
• Dental Forensic Science (Dawson Education)
• Introduction to CEREC (Dallas)
• CEREC II Mastery, CEREC III Posterior Quadrant, CEREC IV Anteriors (Scottsdale)

Reneé started with Kingfisher Dental Designs in 2006, and she finds the fast-paced environment and the involved, caring team a perfect fit. Everyone takes pride in what they do. Aside from dentistry, Reneé likes star gazing on summer nights, tending to her fish pond, and having pool parties with family and friends. Originally from Toledo, Reneé has been married for 26 years and has a daughter and two stepsons.

Catey - Dental Assistant

Catey has been working as a dental assistant since 2001. She has certificates in coronal polishing, taking radiographs, and assisting in nitrous oxide administration. Through continuing education courses, she finds that staying current with the most recent changes in the dental industry is not only exciting, but in the best interests of our patients.

What she enjoys most of all about working at the Kingfisher office is the sense of comradarie she experiences every day. Catey truly feels like a part of a team that is dedicated to exceptional dental care! She also enjoys the opportunity to help educate patients about good oral health.

Catey and her husband, Isaac, and daughter, Savannah, live in Enid. Her favorite hobbies are baking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.

Marla - Office Manager, Treatment Coordinator

With her well-rounded set of skills, Marla helps out with a bit of everything. She coordinates treatments, makes financial arrangements, processes insurance, and assists the dentist and the lab as needed. She has taken an impressive amount of continuing education courses, including classes with Spear Education and the Dawson Academy. She’s certified in coronal polishing and radiology, has taken numerous courses in CEREC, among others.

Marla has been in the dental field for over 27 years, because it allows her to do what she loves most – care for others! Meeting new people, building relationships, and seeing the outcome of restored smiles are highlights of her career, and she even enjoys working with numbers.

Natives to Kingfisher, Marla and her husband have two sons and are excited to welcome their new daughter-in-law to the family. Marla’s hobbies include crocheting, shopping, being outside, and spending time with her family and friends. She can’t wait for her next tropical cruise!

Tanya - Administrative Assistant

Tanya holds a BS in elementary education from OSU and worked in education for 18 years prior to entering the field of dentistry. As a former educator, she understands the importance of building relationships and establishing mutual trust with patients. As our administrative assistant, Tanya warmly welcomes patients to our office and ensures everything from scheduling to insurance processing runs like clockwork.

She and her husband, Chris, have been married for 20 years and have two children. Her free time is spent attending her children’s activities, making jewelry, and she enjoys vacationing when time allows.
